Service Operations

Once you open your service to your customers, there are two more things to keep an eye on beyond handling content in the content studio. One is the members who sign up for that service, and the other is the connections you have wired up to outside programs. For an online clothing store, that means managing the customers who signed up with a social account, and checking the integration that sends word to an in-house notification bot whenever a new product goes up.

The pages in the Service Operations group bring together the work of keeping a service you have opened up running smoothly. How to first turn on and configure each feature is covered in the concept pages; here, the focus is on running, managing, and checking what you have already set up.

Pages in this group

  • Managing service members: Check the roster of members who have signed up (ServiceUser), approve new sign-ups, and adjust a specific member's permissions or block their login.
  • Monitoring external integrations: Check whether the Webhook you set up is firing properly by reviewing its call history and its successes and failures, and respond to failed connections.
